The objective was to create a “single EMR Record” environment whereÂ patient’s transitions of care are managed betweenÂ providers.

Overall, the impact of this initiative increased customer satisfaction by 55%, raised affiliateÂ physician recruitment by 130%, and augmented a 90% retention rate for all affiliateÂ physicians. This success allowed Mercy Health to implement one of the first and largest Accountable Care Organizations (ACO’s) Â in the USA.
